The Jennifer Trust has reached the finals of the National Lottery Awards!

The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy Outreach Service is an invaluable part of our support network. We have two Outreach Workers, Maggie and Claire, who cover the whole country, providing immediate emotional and practical support to newly diagnosed families. They also help signpost families to organizations that can provide financial support, visit hospitals and hospices to help raise awareness of SMA in order to help the speed of diagnosis, provide pre and post bereavement support, amongst many other things. This project would not have been possible without Lottery funding, which we hope will be renewed.
If we win, we'll receive £2,000 and appear on a BBC1 TV show. This would be absolutely fantastic to not only raise funds, but also to raise awareness for SMA.
