As Trustees we've all been devastated with the news of Anita's death. For many of us, she was a close personal friend and a lifeline in our own times of personal crisis. She was an inspirational leader who will be missed deeply by all of us.
The Trustees wish to assure all of those affected by SMA and our supporters that The Trust will continue, as Anita will have wanted and to deliver on Anita's commitment not to stop until a cure for SMA is found.
The Trustees will be meeting to implement some short-term measures and develop a longer-term plan for the future of The Trust without Anita at the helm.
More information will be provided to those affected once the plans are in place.
