Natasha Wood: Rolling with Laughter
A One Woman Play
Performance in aid of The Jennifer Trust
Sunday 30th March 2008 at 7:30pm
Her Majesty's Theatre, in London's West End

Rolling with Laughter

Natasha Wood has had it all - amazing jobs, a fairytale marriage, loving family, a jet-set life. The only thing is she's had to live that life from the confines of a wheelchair, having been born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic disorder which has meant she's too weak to even pick up a pint of milk. But nothing stands in the way of this bawdy, brazen woman's full-frontal assault on life and it's a story that she's now sharing with the world in a hilarious one woman play, Rolling with Laughter.

Co-written by Natasha and Beverley Sanders, this autobiographical show is an empowering and unique story that offers a singular take on life, lingerie and love - with a little disability sprinkled on top. From her Midlands childhood spent working on her quirky parents' market stall selling underwear, through her romance and marriage to her glamorous job as a TV production manager at the BBC, Natasha will take you on a ride of a lifetime with a few tears but a lot of laughter.

Just returned from a critically acclaimed three-week run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Natasha is preparing for a one night charity performance of Rolling with Laughter at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End on 30th March 2008 in aid of The Jennifer Trust, the UK SMA Association. The play has also been performed for six weeks in Los Angeles where it received rave reviews and a flurry of media coverage including a live broadcast on Fox News. This story of derring-do, death, divorce and disability never fails to move its audience - if they're not laughing, they're crying. Natasha describes herself as "the luckiest girl in the world". Once you've seen this show you can't fail to agree!
