The Jennifer Trust is thrilled to announce that the TREAT-NMD project submitted to the EU last autumn has been approved! This will involve a huge project to develop a network of Excellence across Europe. Much work was undertaken here in the Uk by Professor Kate Bushby and Professor Volker Straub, based in Newcastle, in submitting this application.
The Jennifer Trust is very proud to be a satellite partner to this historic project. Professor Volker Straub said to Anita Macaulay Chief Executive of Jennifer Trust: "Anita, Thank you very much for your positive response. All we can say at the moment is that our TREAT-NMD proposal has been favourably evaluated by the European Commission and that the Commission therefore wants to proceed to contract negotiations on our proposal. Overall this is of course very good news."
