When you use our Information and Support Services
When you contact the Jennifer Trust Information and Support Service, your contact information and brief details of your enquiry are stored carefully and held securely using a computerised database. We use this information to assist you with your enquiry.
You are added to our mailing list and will receive copies of our bi-annual magazine “Inspirations” and our bi-annual e-mail newsletter. You can at any time ask to be removed from these mailing lists by emailing
If you have a lot of contact with our service, we will need to gather and record relevant personal information so that we can provide you with the most effective support service. Your information may be shared within our Support Services Team.
Relevant information may also be collected from and shared with other social and health care professionals unless you specifically ask us not to.
Your personal information will never be disclosed to anyone else unless it is necessary as part of our support service. You will always be asked if you agree to this and, if you do not wish the information to be shared, we will not disclose your personal information. The only exception to this is if we are ever concerned that someone is a danger to themselves or others or we believe a child is at risk of harm.

You may at any time decide that you no longer wish to receive our service. Normally we then keep your records for seven years in case you decide to come back to us.
Making a Donation
When making a donation, we use SagePay to securely process your card details. Card details are not available to any member of staff, and are not stored on any system. We are compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Your name and contact details are added to our mailing list and will receive copies of our bi-annual magazine “Inspirations” and our regular e-mail newsletter. We also store details of the amount donated and when it was donated. You can at any time ask to be removed from these mailing lists and for us to remove any record of your donation. We store this information for 8 years.

We never sell any information to third parties. We will not share or distribute your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting.
Setting Up a Micro-Site
A micro-site is a webpage that you can personalise with a photo and some text that allows you to personalise your fundraising and set your own online targets. It is personal choice on the length of time you choose to display this information and we will remove the data on request.
If you choose to link your micro-site to a personal website, or facebook page, anyone then clicking through to these pages will be reminded that we have no control over the content.
