Precious Babies is the title of a series of 3 one hour long documentary programmes going out in March. You may remember that Andrea Price, Assistant Producer at Yorkshire Television asked if any of our families would be interested in taking part in a programme about PGD, back in April of last year.
The programmes feature 9 couples going through IVF treatment for a variety of reasons. One of the families is Lucy and Steve Ryall-Thurlow who lost their son Bradley to SMA. They are hoping that this programme will raise much needed awareness of SMA: not only the initial impact on life from having a child with SMA and following loss, but the future too. Hopefully the programme will also clear up some of the misunderstandings that the general public sometimes have when PGD is discuessed in the media.
The programmes are scheduled for 15th, 22nd & 29th March at 9.00pm on ITV. Steve and Lucy are featured in the last programme. Please note that programme dates are sometimes changed so please check listing times! |
