After Walk Party: Thursday August 14th,
Branston Hall Hotel, Lincoln
On Sunday 27th July 2008, Phil and Bert are embarking on an epic 350 mile walk starting at the Riverside Cricket Ground in Durham. They will then walk all the way down to the Oval Cricket Ground in London, taking in Headingley (Leeds), Trent Bridge (Nottingham), Edgbaston (Birmingham) and Lords (London). The aim is to finish the walk on Saturday 9th August .
After the walk there will be an after walk party on Thusday August 14th at the Branston Hall Hotel, just outside Lincoln. Here Phil, Bert and company will be auctioning and raffling off lots of the sporting memorabilia and prizes. The evening will start at 7pm and finish at 12am. There will be a disco and also a band to provide entertainment on the night.
The fundraising are in memory of Phil's daughter Abigail who sadly passed away from Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy in 2006. They are keen to help raise money and awareness for The Jennifer Trust, but most of all to keep Abigail's memory alive
