Welcome to the Jennifer Trust. If you are reading this it is probably because you have yourself, or a close family member has recently been given a diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Perhaps you are probably feeling confused, angry, alone or afraid.

What we can provide

Outreach Service

The Jennifer Trust has two dedicated professional Outreach Workers who can visit you and offer face to face support, information and guidance. Our Outreach Workers cover the whole of the United Kingdom and are there to help you deal with this devastating diagnosis. They are available to answer your questions, help you understand SMA and to offer guidance at this difficult time.

Contact Volunteer Network

The Jennifer Trust has a nationwide team of Volunteers who are available for telephone or e-mail contact with you should you want it. These Volunteers known as Contact Volunteers, have each been affected in some way by SMA, be it their self or a family member. Our volunteers have undergone regular training to help them support you. They have a deeper understanding of what you are going through and are there to offer their own knowledge in helping you.

Information Service

The Jennifer Trust has an information service based at our Office. We can help answer queries you may have about SMA and we can also signpost you to other organisations or people who can help. We will try and help in all instances, with any query.
