On Sunday 30th September fundraisers from the age of 10 took part in a 90ft abseil from Manchester Town Hall to raise money for the Jennifer Trust.

Among those taking part were Paul and Helen, raising money in honour of their son Patrick who has SMA, they hope to have raised close to £2000!

Also taking part was Robert Inel and a past headteacher of his, Gerard, who were abseiling in honour of Patrick's brother Baris who has SMA.

Other participants who had been affected by SMA were Antonia and Catherine whose friend lost a child to Type I.

Claire Williams drove from Essex to take part as a friend's child has been recently diagnosed!

Our youngest participant was Sam Tyrrell, who following in his dads footsteps chose to take part in a challenge event for Jennifer Trust.

Fellow youngsters taking on the challenge were 2 boys form the local TA, they hope to encourage fellow members to take part in the next Jennifer Trust event in the North!
All in all we hope to have raised well over £5,000, so thank you to each and everyone who participated!
