Leave a legacy to The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular AtrophyThank you so much for your interest in leaving a legacy for our work.
We are hoping that a growing number of people will choose to support our work in this important way, which helps us to plan for the future. Your legacy can help us be here for people affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) for years to come ― delivering care, support, guidance and investing in research.
Your legacy will help us to ensure that while there is SMA there will be the right services to meet the growing need.
If you have any questions on leaving a gift in your will to The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy or would like to talk about our work please contact the Head of Fundraising, on 01789 267520, email: legacies@jtsma.org.uk or fill in our short contact form.
A gift in your will is a wonderful way of making a positive difference beyond your lifetime.
A gift, whether it's 1% of your estate or £500,000, will make a real difference to people with SMA, their families and carers. By remembering The Jennifer Trust in your will, you will be helping people with SMA.
The main thing is to ensure your will includes our full name, registered office address and our registered charity number.

In general, it’s best if gifts are made unconditionally because it’s difficult to anticipate how things will be in the future. For example, if years from now we withdraw an existing service for a new one, a binding condition in a legacy gift towards the original service could mean our being unable to benefit from the legacy.
Our desire is to respect your wishes, so if any such requests are stated as a preference and not a condition, it will help avoid future problems which could have an outcome you would not have intended.
If you have any questions about the gift you wish to make, please contact our Head of Fundraising 01789 267 520.
