Current Question CVS results today
Hi all i had a CVS on tuesday my genetic counsiller has just phoned and said the results will be in a 4pm today, I am really nervous and wondered why it has only taken 2/3 days to come back does this quickness reflect your result i just cant stop thinking about it. Thankyou for your support

hi kyla we to had our cvs last week but our test didnt get sent of til monday and we got the results back yesterday.to be honest the timing of the test doesnt has anything to with the results they just say they will take anything upto 2/3 days. we were told when we had ours that it could be longer and possably upto a week depending on if they could get a reading from the genes the first time round but i think in most cases its 2/3 days. try not to worry and i hope that its good news. leanne

Hi Leanne thankyou so much for the reply, yes it was good news i am having a healthy little boy free of sma. How were your results if you dont mind me asking. I have woke up with awful dull backache this morning did you experience this after your CVS its just a little worrying

hi kyla sorry its took so long to reply our results came back good theres no sma and were also having a little boy which were calling xander. after my cvs i had alot of stomach cramps which seemed to last a week or so but when i spokt to the midwife she just said that i was over doing it and that i had to take it easy so maybe thats what it could be try to take it easy and put ur feet up when ur by ur self thats what i did and it seems to have worn off now. hope ur ok and keep in touch x
