Current Question:
	Car
We are in the process of looking at suitable cars to wheel the motorised wheelchair onto (via a ramp) and secure. Can anyone recommend a car (make/model)? Also, is it best to change the car every 5 years with Motorbility or has anyone brought their own car and made the adjustments and kept the car? I would appreciate any comments or ideas.

My fiance has SMA 2/3 and we got a Renault Kangoo about a year ago through Motability. It's fantastic on petrol and the ramp is very easy to use as are the tie down straps. The only drawback I'd say is that you can't have more than 2 additional passengers in the car because of part of the back seats being removed to allow room for the wheelchair. Otherwise i'd highly recommend it.
