Current Question Holiday in Cornwall
My fiance (type II/III) and I have decided to have our honeymoon in Cornwall. Is there anyone else that lives in Cornwall or has taken a holiday there and has advice on care agencies, equipment hire (hoist) and accessible restaurants? We will be staying in Marazion but travelling to St. Austell and other towns. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there. I know this is a bit late now but did you have any luck with this? I have SMA II and have stayed in Marazion a couple of times.

Regards,

hi again, where are you staying? we usually stay at the Godolphin Arms hotel & we once stayed at an adapted b&b, Mounts Bay House, but I think it's closed now. for equipment hire try HSC Mobility (http://www.hsc-mobility.co.uk/), they hire hoists (they deliver & collect). never used care agencies there sorry. a few accessible pub restaurants in Marazion & the Old Quay House Inn and Brewers Fayre in Hayle. Accessible transport is non-existant as far as I know.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the info. We are actually staying at Mounts Bay House. We have the Bay View flat. It looks like it's been well adapted. How did you find it?
