It is very inportant to use a cough asst with Type 1s. They can not cough on their own. Here is Elizabeth's page with her machines and explains why she needs them. | thank you for your reply,i have had a look at the website and Elizabeth is a beauiful little girl and you all must be so proud of her. Toby was born on the 30th Aug and seems to be fine at the moment, we lost our last son Jake at 7 months old, last Nov. i don't want a huge amount of intervention but the cough assist seems to work well and it's not invasive but it has to prescribed. your story gives me hope to see Toby's 1st birthday at least and i wish Elizabeth a happy 4th birthday. take care kathryn X |
