My 12 year old has recently enjoyed his first time in the sea courtesy of one of these wheelchairs during our holiday in Malaga.

I did a search on the Internet for a picture.

Here's the link:- http://www.tiralo.com/ Our son was using the one on the left and he absolutely LOVED his experience in the sea.

This site's in French so I'm not sure if it's a sales site or a product info site. Even so, contacting the site owner might be effective.

I hope this helps!

Take care
Cheryl

We have just come back from a week in bognor and we arranged a trail of two beach chairs the land easy and the hippocampe the difficulty is that my husband likes the land easy but i like the hippocampe. Has anyone brought either one of these or how did you make the decision of what one to buy. Because at the moment the two chairs are level pegging

Hi, I am a small adult with SMA and have used 2 types of beach chairs in Spain. Both were fairly big and lacked support although fantastic for moving on the sand and into the sea. As your son is only 6 the following link may be of some use to you. It is for a pediatric beach chair for children up to 23kg.

Hope you find the perfect chair - would be great to know if you do.
