Current Question Garden Play
My 2 1/2 year old wants to get involved with playing in the garden with her older sister but is obviously unable to join in without adult help,we have no outdoor specialist equipment and our garden is large but on various levels.Has anyone any ideas for helping her interact safely outside - what does everyone else do with their tots out of doors?

On the FSMA website there are toy ideas - one we are using this summer is a sand and water table where the legs have been lenghtened with PVC so his chair can fit underneath. Last summer he was happy playing with sand trays and water trays on the garden table - plus all finger painting and messy play happens outside, we use to have a small table and chair with support for outside he now has a powered chair so sits at garden table.

Thank you for your help. I've been looking at suitable sandpits as, like you, think this could give hours of quiet play!
