Current Question Sport for All
It is not so much of question but access to sport for those with severe disabilities can be difficult. There is one sport that I have found that suits people with SMA, of all ages...
A friend introduced me to it and I had a go for the first time this year - Trail Orienteering. Go have a browse through the site because it is a great way to get out into the countryside but above all you are using your brain power.
The only downside is there are not many competitions in this country per year, there are however permanent sites in various parts of the country.
If you are involved in Duke of Edinburgh Awards or Scouts etc then this is a great opportunity.
It is also suited to families wanting a day out. If you require further information then please email me.
See you out there - Vivien
