Each year 6th form pupils of Merchant Taylors School and St. Helen's School support a group of 20 disabled young people for this week long experience. This year is the 50th Jubilee of national charity Phab and also the 30th anniversary of Phab at the schools.
The Jennifer Trust has linked with Michael McGrath, the CEO and charity co-founder of The Muscular Help Foundation www.musclehelp.com based in Hertfordshire, who are paying the £50 fee for each of our young people to attend. Michael is the only disabled person in the world to have reached both North and South Poles. He has limb girdle muscular dystrophy. The Muscular Help Foundation aims to help children and young people affected by muscular dystrophy. Thank you for your support and we look forward to more joint initiatives in the future.
