Free Early Education for Two year olds in England

 24th Jan 2012

The Department for Education (DfE) is gathering views on proposals to set eligibility criteria for a new entitlement to free early education for two year olds from September 2013.

Parents may wish to respond to this consultation under question five, which asks whether priority consideration should be given to specific groups of children. Parents with a disabled child, or a child with additional needs, may wish to respond and highlight why these children should be prioritised for childcare or free early education.

This consultation closes on Friday 3rd February 2012. Find out more about the consultation by clicking here.
