Fully supported work placement opportunities for young people aged 15 25 with SMA, through whizz-kidz
Whizz-Kidz are offering exciting opportunities for young people to participate in work placements. These are usually held over school/ college holidays.
Below are just a sample of the opportunities available, but others come in regularly. If you can’t see anything suitable, do contact Claire at Whizz-Kidz (see contact details below) and tell her all about yourself. Claire will do everything she can to help you find a suitable placement, but don’t delay the more preparation time you have, the more likely you are to find what you want!
- Unicredit- Seeking an ambassador with an interest in finance. Two paid internships are available for three months over the summer. This will suit an undergraduate seeking to gain hands on experience of finance and human resources (HR). Location: EC1
- Chartis- This world player in the field of insurance are offering a work placement in a variety of departments. This would ideally suit a recent graduate with a passion for finance although an IT/ HR and communications placement is also available. This is a two month paid role which could lead to a job offer for the right candidate.
Watford
- Hilton- This world famous hotel is offering the chance to work within their HR department in their glamorous head office in Watford. A full induction to the organisation will be given as well as on the job training. This is offered three days per week for two weeks.
Regional
- Tesco- Work in one of the world’s largest retail chains and experience a range of departments. A fantastic role to build confidence and customer service skills. A hugely successful Whizz-Kidz partner. Rolling programme- store near you.
- Interncontinental hotels this placement offers the chance to work in one of the worlds leading hotel chains. Our ambassadors have previously worked as porters, reception staff, events and catering. Rolling programme- hotel near you.
Employers are really keen to recruit to these and other roles ASAP. Whizz Kidz can provide all the support that you may need, such as, P.A’s, transport, equipment etc
