Contact a Family (CAF) and The Children's Trust are calling for the rules to be scrapped whereby a child’s Disability Living Allowance (DLA) is stopped after 84 days in hospital.
CAF have submitted a response to the DWP's ‘21st Century Welfare’ consultation, which proposes significant reforms to the benefits system.
That consultation has now closed but in the meantime, CAF are continuing to campaign about the issue.
They are now urging supporters to e-mail their local MP to tell them about the campaign and ask for their support.
