Blogathon Worldwide On-Line Event
Tamara Fletcher from Australia(!) is taking part in a unique event and wants your help!
The Blogathon is a 24-hour on-line marathon. Last year over 200 personal weblog sites (blogs, for short) participated in the Second Annual Blogathon, with their sponsors pledging over US$50,000 to over 100 unique charities!
Tamara lives in Australia - she has chosen the Jennifer Trust because of her friend, Wayne, who lives in the UK and who was diagnosed with SMA when he was two years old.
This year Blogathon will take place beginning 2pm London time (11pm Sydney time) on Saturday, July 26, 2003, and will continue for 24 hours. For the entirety of that time Tamara will be staying awake to update her site with new material at least once every thirty minutes.
If you'd like to sponsor Tamara, we ask for you to make your pledge - either for each hour she completes or for completing the entire event. At the end of the event she will ask you to make your donation to the JTSMA - you can do so on-line using our secure on-line donation facility.
To see how Tamara gets on, don't forget to visit her page during the event! Tamara writes her 'blog' at 'Dressed to Depress' - follow the link to her blog at the top-left of the page.
