Community Group Fundraisers
There are many ways in which your group, organisation or school can support the work of The Jennifer Trust. Here are a few examples.
Case Study 1: Rotary Club Of Salisbury
In 2010 the Rotary of Salisbury nominated The Jennifer Trust as one of their 3 beneficiary charities for the annual Rotary swim-a-thon held at Godolphin School, Salisbury.
The school have also supported us in the past and we were very grateful to have the support of both groups.
The Swimathon saw 35 teams, with 220 swimmers take part, swimming a total of 4450 lengths between them and raising a fantastic £3500 for each charity. We would like to say a big thank you all involved.
Case Study 2: Presdales School, Ware, Hertfordshire
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of Anna Brooks, a year 12 pupil at Presdales, The Jennifer Trust have been chosen as Charity of the year for 2011.
The school have a range of events are in the pipeline including quiz nights, dress down days, food sales and even a cabaret evening. With approximately 30 pupils on the school’s charity committee this year, this partnership is sure to be a great success and we are extremely grateful to all staff and pupils for their support.
