The Children’s Society Chief Executive has set up an online petition urging the government to reverse unfair plans to cut support by up to £27 per week for 100,000 disabled children.  

Short breaks are one of the most important services that disabled children, young people and their families use. They help disabled children to be independent and give the whole family the time and space to lead an ordinary life.

Whizz-Kidz are calling on the government to Fast Forward reform of NHS wheelchair provision for disabled children and young people.

Brompton Hospital Closure - Families Survey

The threatened closure of the children’s cardiac unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London could have a knock-on impact on other services, including services for children with other respiratory illnesses.
 

We have developed a quality of life measure at University College London for children aged 4 to 10 years old with medical conditions such as spinal muscular atrophy, and need children and families to help test it.
